{"id":2051,"date":"2026-05-26T12:00:27","date_gmt":"2026-05-26T12:00:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ateliersfurrer.com\/?p=2051"},"modified":"2026-05-26T13:34:39","modified_gmt":"2026-05-26T13:34:39","slug":"swiss-re-announces-new-market-heads","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/ateliersfurrer.com\/index.php\/2026\/05\/26\/swiss-re-announces-new-market-heads\/","title":{"rendered":"Swiss Re announces new Market Heads"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Global reinsurer Swiss Re has appointed Rafael Schneider as Market Head Mediterranean &amp; Middle East, effective July 1st, 2026, and expanded the role of Thomas Rauber to include Switzerland and the Netherlands, while Mira Kiridzic-B\u00fcgler\u2019s role will include the Nordics &amp; CIS, effective August 1st, 2026.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright wp-image-114664 lazyload\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" alt=\"swiss re logo\" width=\"340\" height=\"204\" data-src=\"http:\/\/ateliersfurrer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/swiss-re-logo.png\">These appointments follow <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reinsurancene.ws\/swiss-re-names-ziswiler-as-head-pc-re-southeast-asia-india-hong-kong-taiwan-and-korea\/\">Anna Ziswiler\u2019s move to Asia<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, Schneider is the Market Head for Germany, a role he has held since 2022, leading the reinsurer\u2019s P&amp;C business in the German market.<\/p>\n<p>In the past, he held\u00a0senior roles in business development, regional management for Southern Africa, and leadership of Swiss Re\u2019s Global MGA &amp; Client Review Team.<\/p>\n<p>He will be succeeded in this role by Kristina Franke, also effective July 1st, 2026.
